HealthEquity Flexible Spending Account and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Account

FSA provides you with an important tax advantage that can help you pay health care and dependent care expenses on a pre-tax basis. As an employee, you agree to set aside a portion of your pre-tax salary in an FSA account and that money is deducted from your paycheck over the course of the year. You can use this money to pay for Medical, Dental, Vision, Rx, and certian Over-The-Counter expenses. You should always check prior to make sure your expense is an eligible expense per IRS guidelines.

Dependent Care FSA allows for the reimbursement of qualified care services if you have children under the age of 13, or elderly or disabled dependents who you claim as tax dependents. Expenses you may use pre-tax dollars on are: childcare before or after school programs, nursery school, preschool or sick childcare. For elder care expenses, you may be reimbursed for adult day care center, elder care (in or outside of your home) or senior day care.

Benefit Information

Wellfleet Critical Illness Insurance

No one is ever really prepared for a life-altering critical illness diagnosis. The whirlwind of appointments, tests, treatments, and medications can add to your stress levels. The treatment to recovery is vital, but it can also be expensive. Your medical coverage may only cover some of the costs associated with treatment. You’re still responsible for deductibles and coinsurance. If treatment keeps you out of work, the financial worries can grow quickly.

Critical Illness coverage helps provide financial support if you are diagnosed with a covered critical illness. With the expense of treatment often high, seeking the treatment you need could seem like a financial burden. When a diagnosis occurs, you need to be focused on getting better and taking control of your health, not stressing over financial worries.

You have the option to choose among a $10,000; $20,000; or $30,000 benefit amount in the event you were diagnosed.
